Welcome to Alpine Contemporary Craft Studio.

Hi, I'm Vivienne Rochford. One day, about 11 years ago, my dear very like-minded arty friend Anna told me she was going to a clay class. As it was only a few blocks away from where I lived I asked her if I could come along. I had already done everything from teaching beading, knitting for everyone else but myself, making quilts, doing crochet and macrame, and even acting (in local Canberra productions). This was something new and exciting and I couldn't wait to try it. I went off to my first lesson that night and met the most amazingly talented Lex Sorrentino. From that day forward Paverpol and polymer clay became a tremendously important part of my life. A little later I met two more extremely talented ladies, Jennifer Tattam and Lara Le Reveur, and my journey with Precious Metal Clay also began. I have since attended numerous courses, workshops, and retreats and gained recognition at competitive levels.

My qualifications include:

PAVERPOL - fully Accredited Paverpol Instructor

CONTEMPORARY CLAY INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM - I am a certified contemporary clay artisan and instructor

Member of:

International Polymer Clay Association

Precious Metal Clay Guild Aus/NZ

Feel free to visit my comfortable studio in Mount Beauty (please call beforehand just in case there is a class in progress).  I currently have students from Mount Beauty, Albury and surrounding areas. Most classes are held at the studio but I am very happy to travel to hold a class provided you have enough people interested in participating. There are two important things to remember about my classes - you must have fun and there's no such thing as mistakes (everything is fixable).
